River Talks
Today 9TTU and 9KRO went to the Pt. England reserve and had our river talks. We learnt a lot of things about where we put our rubbish and the actions that they cause when they are put in the wrong places. The schools that went were, Pt. England, Glen Taylor and Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Puau Te Moananui A Kiwa. We had a visit from a lot of people and they talked to us about cleaning the rivers and how it affects our future.

Tahuna Torea
For the Tahuna Torea trip we had to make a DLO about it. For this DLO I worked with Pote and Sebastian on this one and another DLO. We had to create a DLO with something that we wouldn't normally use.
Tahuna Torea
Yesterday the whole senior school went to Tahuna Torea Reserve. AS our topic was flight and we were learning about godwits, we went to observe the place that godwits rest and breed.

Rockets
Last Friday we stayed back at Tamaki college and made rockets with Mr Dunn and Mrs Ferguson. We made two different types of rockets, straw rockets and paper rockets. One thing I liked about making the rockets was everything was cut out and ready and it didn't waist any of our time.

Rockets At Tamaki College
On Friday the year 7 and 8's of Panmure Bridge School stayed at Tamaki College to make paper rockets with Mr Dunn and Mrs Ferguson. We made two different types of rockets, straw rockets and paper rockets. It was really cool because everything was already set up and all we had to do was make the rockets.
