Chocolate Muffins

Today in Food Tech, Me and my partners Pepe and Breeana made chocolate muffins, Pepe went up to get the ingredients, When he was done I helped him to mix all the ingredients together, When we finished, we poured the mixture into the cupcake cups and when Pepe pulled them out the oven they where cooked but they didn't look that bad. When we tasted them they where alright.

Food Tech

Today Levi G. and Pepe and I Was cooking Hot Cakes. First we Need to learn how to read the Ingredients then Get all the equipment Used for the process . Next we had to get 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 cup of milk 1 1/2 cup of flower  and 1 egg.

After that we mixed all our ingredients in the bowl and put the mix in the pan . we made 2 equal sizes of hot cakes. but it was hard trying to make a perfect circle.

Maths

We have learnt a lot this term because most of the class wants to do better in their exams and in their classes. I learnt that for a triangle you have to times the width by the length and then half it to get your real answer. I also learned about the circumference and pi. When we did our work we got points for doing work and if you did lots of work you could be the person in the class which had the most points.

We also learnt about King Henry drank hot chocolate milk which stood for K.H.D - M - H.C.M

What do you already know about our number topic?

Our Topic is number and as a year 10 we are suppose to be level 4-5

What level do you think you are at currently? Why?

I think I am at a level 5 because I have been up to date with my work and I have improved since primary.

What are you looking forward to learning in our number topic?

I am looking forward to learning new things about integers and fractions and bedmas

What are your personal goals for this topic?

Achieve higher - Because I want to get better and better as I go on with Maths

This week in maths we have been learning a lot on Education Perfect. i know I didn't do the best of my abilities this week, but I know i will do better next week as it is another week and as I make a change

River Talks

Today 9TTU and 9KRO went to the Pt. England reserve and had our river talks. We learnt a lot of things about where we put our rubbish and the actions that they cause when they are put in the wrong places. The schools that went were, Pt. England, Glen Taylor and Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Puau Te Moananui A Kiwa. We had a visit from a lot of people and they talked to us about cleaning the rivers and how it affects our future.
