Maths
This is my maths activity for the week. This weeks focus was on the seven times tabes. This weeks maths was kind of hard
Music- John
On Wednesday room 5 went to go and learn some more music. This week we learnt how to play the xylophones and the song we learnt was When the saints go marching in. I really like that song but it was knd of hard. The thing I like about this piece of music is that we got to learn things that we didn't already learn.

Basketball-John
Today we had another session of basketball. Today we practiced how to dribble, how to cup the ball, how to pivot and how to do a proper stants in basketball. We also got marks for teamwork and encouragment. The best thing I liked about basketball was the new activities that Coach Mark and Coach Milly picked for us and my group were helping Jacob because it was his first time doing basketball.

Ukulele
Yesterday for music we didn't have our proper music teacer Mrs Eeles instead we had three students from our class doing music. Those three people were Tim, Fine and Yvette. The songs we learnt were Islands and Kiwi Ukulele. I had to help some people do the plucking for Islands because some people didn't know what to do.

SSW Swaping Tasks
Have you ever thought about the rumours people have been telling you about the abandoned house on the hill. People told me it isn’t that scary. So I went to check it for myself. As I opened the door I heard voices saying “Don’t do it”, it was creeping me out. I walked inside and saw nothing but empty paintings. I thought in my head get out get out, but the surroundings kept me in. As I was walking in I saw stairs. I tip toed up the stairs. I saw paintings of a girl, I heard more voices saying get out get out. But I told to myself to keep going and to not be afraid. So I kept tip toeing up the stairs, Finally I got to the top. I heard more voices telling me to get out now before it was was too late. But I saw this picture of a 5 year old boy, I turned around and saw another door slam shut. I went inside a room full of empty boxes. I looked in the corner of the room and I saw eyes that were looking at me. I went closer and as each step I took closer to the eye I heard voices that were it’s too late I heard the door and scary music were playing and there were stairs leading to the front door. I was so relieved but the only thing was that it wasn’t the front door.
Blurb.
Today for writing we were focusing on SSW which means Sustain Silent Writing. We had to work with someone we wouldn't usually work with. One thing I found cool about this activity was that we could work with different people.

Maths Solving
This is my start on the revision challenge. Today I started on word problem solving. We had to use addidition and subtraction to solve the answer.
Grid Challenge
Today Room 5 played a game which we called The Grid Challenge. We had to get into partners then after that we got told the instructions. The aim of the game was to get the least ammount of the squares left. The person who had the least ammount of squares was the winner. But there was also a time limit of 10 minutes. My partner was Tim and the ammount of squares that were left on his half was 39 and on my half there was only 16 squares left.
