For the first activity of the Winter learning Journey, I had to choose one of the sports that the Greeks did in their Olympics. I chose to do boxing. I chose boxing because it was the sport that I grew up around. Boxing has been in my life and that is why I chose it.

Hi John!
Welcome to the Winter Learning Journey programme. I am so happy that you have joined us and decided to blog over the holiday!
I am also really happy that you chose boxing. It sounds like you are very familiar with it. Do you box or do people in your family box? I would love to know more!
Please feel free to post a reply to this comment and to complete more of the activities. I will check your blog on Wednesday to see if you've had time to reply. I really hope that you will!
Cheers, Rachel
Hi John
I have never boxed before. I have play ones at school with my friends, but never a real one. I wonder what it would be like? Keep up the great work.
Daniel
Hi John
Boxing is a great choice and your family memories give you a meaningful connection to the sport. I have love watching boxing ever since I got the chance when I was about your age to meet Mohammed Ali. I remember he had very big hands! My favourite boxer for a long time was Lennox Lewis. Who is your favourite boxer? Enjoy the rest of the challenges in the Winter learning Journey.

Hello John
I never knew that you grew up around boxing. I like how you have explained what and why you did this activity.
HI John. I can see why you loved to do boxing. I always wanted to do it but just never had the time to. When you said boxing is my life can you please explain more about that. Great Work.
Hi John
I have never in my life done boxing before. Who's your favorite boxer? I would have to agree with Nesi you have to talk more about how it's been in your life maybe more to the audience/readers.
But other than that
Good Job!
Mia
Great feedback Mia, Nesi and AJ. I really like the way that you have been positive and also made helpful suggestions for improvement. This is nice example of constructive commenting. Way to go!
