Anzac biscuit.

Yesterday a group of people went into the school hall kitchen and made ANZAC biscuits. They tasted DELICIOUSE!! It smelt nice and it wa fun to make. we used teamwork and made them fast so we could have them quickly. My job was to was step 2 and step 4.  We had 2 each and we could share it with someone, or we could eat it ourselves.  We made ANZAC biscuits because it is nearly anzac day. I think that was the best day of term one because it was the only baking we did fir the term.

 This is my voice thread on my poem. It is about playing a game. I hope you enjoy it.

Our visit to the Panmure Library

Yesterday Room 7  went to the Panmure Library,Mrs Ang helped us walk to the Library, We had started to walk at 12.00 and got there at 12.30. We met some people from the Auckland Museum.The people were Pare, Juanita, Ole and Kare.  We acted out a story. There were 2 Fairy tribes they were Tuhere my fairy tribe and Patu Piarehe We had been seperated into groups.  One tribe had rakau(Stick) and the other had a Patu(Club).

There was a river between the two tribes. One night Pote the son of Matua Kare went to the river. He had forgotten his Matau(Hook). So he had to jump in the water. He got some Tuna(eel) and a Ika(Fish). Then Eta the daughter of Whaea Juanita also went the the river between the Two tribes and she also forgot her Matau(Hook). So she aswell jumped into the river and got her muscle and also got her a tuna(Eel). Then Pote saw a girl and It was Eta and Pote shouted out to her hey Girl do you want to marrie me and Eta said yes. So they went to  the Patu paiarehe's tribe and they got married. Then the two tribes went to the river and started a war. Then the ground shook and made Maugarei(Mt Weelington) our local mountain which is still standing today. At the end Five people got prizes from the people from AM.

Monday quick write

My Super hero

For my Monday quick write for today I am writing about my favourite super hero. I decided to pick two super heroes because I couldn't pick witch one was the best. My super heroes would be my parents because they do a lot for me and they are loving and kind. They are the best parents that I could ever have.  They make me happy when I get to see them every day after school. They look after me every time I get hurt. I think that they are the best super heroes ever.  My parents are older than 20 they are in their mid 40's. My Mum and dad are always there when I need them. They help me when I need it .

My Dad is named after his dad and my mum is just my mum. I think they are  better than any parents in the world. They look after me when I am sick and when I am feeling ill. That is why I call them Super.
