Our visit to the Panmure Library

Yesterday Room 7  went to the Panmure Library,Mrs Ang helped us walk to the Library, We had started to walk at 12.00 and got there at 12.30. We met some people from the Auckland Museum.The people were Pare, Juanita, Ole and Kare.  We acted out a story. There were 2 Fairy tribes they were Tuhere my fairy tribe and Patu Piarehe We had been seperated into groups.  One tribe had rakau(Stick) and the other had a Patu(Club).

There was a river between the two tribes. One night Pote the son of Matua Kare went to the river. He had forgotten his Matau(Hook). So he had to jump in the water. He got some Tuna(eel) and a Ika(Fish). Then Eta the daughter of Whaea Juanita also went the the river between the Two tribes and she also forgot her Matau(Hook). So she aswell jumped into the river and got her muscle and also got her a tuna(Eel). Then Pote saw a girl and It was Eta and Pote shouted out to her hey Girl do you want to marrie me and Eta said yes. So they went to  the Patu paiarehe's tribe and they got married. Then the two tribes went to the river and started a war. Then the ground shook and made Maugarei(Mt Weelington) our local mountain which is still standing today. At the end Five people got prizes from the people from AM.
